Cosmelanis a depigmentation peel designed to inhibit melanin production in hyperpigmented areas, therefore removing or lightening unsightly blemishes and spots. After the initial treatment with Cosmelan, the skin will begin to peel, revealingvisibly clearer skin. This treatment has an efficacy rate of 95% when treating dark patches, age spots melasma and hyperpigmentation.

How does it work

Cosmelan is a topical skin whitening treatment which removes dark spots and patches. The formulation acts on the cells responsible for skin pigmentation, inhibiting melanin production in hyperpigmented areas and therefore removing or lightening unsightly blemishes and spots.

During treatment

In the clinic we will clean and prepare your skin, then apply a thick Cosmelan mask which will stay on for up to 12 hours. We will inform you how to remove it and give you an after-care kit you can use at home.

Home Care Regime

Once you get home, you remove the mask after the specified period of time, then apply our after-care kit to help protect and moisturise your skin. Peeling will start a few days after application and you’ll need to apply the homecare cream several times a day for two weeks

How often do you need treatments?

It involves just one treatment in the clinic and then a home care regime, additional creams are required at this stage to fully complete the treatment and maximise results.
