Fat freezing (also called cryolipolysis) is a safe and effective non-surgical treatment for eliminating fat and achieving your weight loss goals. Along with an advised nutritional and exercise plan, your fat freezing results support your long-term physical and mental wellbeing.

This fat freezing treatment is ideal for targeting stubborn fat, particularly on the upper arms, back, abdomen, waist and thighs. Our practitioners use a high-tech targeted cooling system to freeze fat cells under the skin. Your body then expels these cells through the lymphatic system, helping you cut body fat quickly and painlessly.

What can i expect at my first consultation?

When you first attend our clinic, our trained practitioners go through your medical history and help you set realistic and measurable goals for your weight loss. We assess and measure the areas you wish to target and advise you on the best course of treatment. In most cases, this is a combination of fat freezing and lipo ultrasound cavitation (using ultrasound technology to break down fat cells beneath the skin).

During your consultation, we record your weight, take notes about your general diet and photograph your target areas to show your post-treatment progress. We can also provide advice on dietary requirements to help you set and maintain a healthy, long-lasting weight loss program.

What does the treatment consist of?

Your fat freezing practitioner places a specialist gel pad on your treatment area to protect your skin. Then they place an applicator on top of the gel pad.

When it’s activated, excess fat is pulled into the device and held in place for cooling. You may feel a sharp sucking sensation, but there’s no need to worry. It’s not painful and is completely safe!

Once your fat freezing treatment is finished, your practitioner removes the applicator. They may also massage the area with oil to warm and settle it.

How long is the treatment?

Your fat freezing treatment can take up to one hour for a single area.

However, your practitioner can apply more than one applicator at the same time. That means you could target multiple areas like the flanks, arms and thighs in a single session. This full-body transformation can take up to 4 hours. So please allow plenty of time for secondary consultations, additional measurements and breaks between treatments.

If you book a full-body transformation that combines your fat freezing treatment with lipo ultrasound cavitation, this can also take up to 4 hours.

Is the treatment painful?

Fat freezing is a painless treatment. You may feel some tugging as the applicator pulls the fat into place. But any discomfort will quickly subside, especially since the area is numbed due to the cooling temperature.

After your treatment, you may experience slight bruising, redness, swelling, numbing, or tingling in your treatment area. This is perfectly normal. If you have any concerns following your fat freezing treatment, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

How long is the recovery time?

Very little downtime is required after a fat freezing treatment, and you can continue your day as normal once you leave the clinic. But we advise you to rest as much as possible and drink plenty of water following your treatment. Also, it’s recommended that you avoid strenuous physical exercise for 3-4 days to allow your body time to recover.

When will I see my fat freezing results?

Most clients see slight results within two weeks of treatment when they follow their advised nutritional and exercise plan.

The full fat freezing results are most notable approximately 4-6 weeks after your first treatment.

By maintaining a healthy lifestyle following your fat freezing treatment, you’ll see continual improvements and experience greater success in your treatments. This will be most evident up to 3 months after your first session.
