It usually takes around three to six treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart to complete a course of laser hair removal. This is becauseour hair grows in cycles and we need to catch the hair at the right time – known as the active growth phase.

Laser treated skin is more sensitive to the sun. You must not expose your skin to the sun or use fake tan for at least two weeks before your treatment. The lasers used for hair removal cannot differentiate between the pigment in the hair follicle and the pigment from a tan -and this can trigger hypo-pigmentation (lighter patches of skin) after the treatment.
Minimising sun exposure post treatment is also crucial in order to reduce your chances of developing hyperpigmentation (brown patches of skin).
